On-Road Experienced Motorcycle Rider Course (ERC)

This course is ideal for experienced on-road riders who wish to advance their basic skills as well as those that require a real understanding of applying safe on-road riding skills. The rider will be able to predict dangerous situations, decide on the best course of action to avoid said situation and execute defensive maneuvers more effectively. The course is ideal – but not limited to – individuals who commute with their bike on a daily basis. This training builds on the on-road intermediate course (On-MRC).

Course content:

• Theoretical and Practical Defensive Riding techniques.
• Maneuverability Skills:
  • Slow speed control.
  • Improving cornering speed.
  • Lane splitting.
• Braking Skills:
  • Front, back and both-brakes practical.
  • Unintentional skids and over-breaking.

Bike categories:

On-road bikes (generally above 400cc). Duration 8h00 – 15h00 Pre-requisites

• The student must have experience on the road.
• The student must have completed a on-road Course.
