On-Road Motorcycle Rider Course (On-MRC)

This course was designed with road-safety in mind for inexperienced on-road riders. The rider will be able to predict dangerous situations, decide on the best course of action to avoid said situation and execute defensive maneuvers effectively. The course is ideal – but not limited to – minors who have recently started riding to school and/or delivery personnel. This training will equip the rider for the more advanced course (On-ERC).

Course content:

• Theoretical and Practical Defensive Riding techniques.
• Mastering the Primary Controls (throttle, brakes, clutch & Changing gears)
• Slow Speed Control
• Pulling off safely on inclines & declines.
• Lane Changes
• Cornering skills.
• Emergency braking safety (front, rear and both brakes).

Bike categories:

On-road bikes (generally below 400cc).

Pre-Requisites
The student must be able to ride a motorcycle comfortably on roads.
